The Provincial Priory of Surrey Family BBQ

{index}/{total}

The Provincial Priory of Surry Family Fun Day due to be held on Sunday 21st August unfortunately had to be cancelled due to low numbers. However, the Provincial Prior kindly opened up his garden for a BBQ so that those knights and their wives/partners who had booked tickets for the Family Fun Day would not be disappointed.

The Provincial Priory of Surrey Family BBQWhat a splendid afternoon we had down at East Horsley, thanks to the efforts of Gary Lewis and his family, as well as Jim Smith slaving away on a his BBQ as usual. It was a very informal gathering for Knights and their families to socialise in a relaxed atmosphere.

The game of Jenga set up in the middle of the lawn proved very popular and Graham McGlashen finally managed to beat me after a nail biting 15 minutes. To round off a most successful and enjoyable afternoon we had a free raffle where almost everyone won a prize.

Thanks again to Pat for his hospitality and to everyone who came along to support the event.
