The March meeting of Nutfield Preceptory
Due to the suspension of Masonic activity, on Saturday 13th March at 10am Nutfield Preceptory No 598 held a Virtual Business Meeting using the Zoom video conferencing tool. This would have been the Preceptory’s regular meeting date had we not still been in the Pandemic Lockdown.

The March meeting of Nutfield Preceptory

Eminent Knight Norman Jones, the current Eminent Preceptor chaired the meeting. After the Eminent Preceptor declared the meeting open Eminent Knight Chris George, the Preceptory Chaplain, gave a prayer for the tragic loss of Eminent Knight Colin Whitehead to the Pandemic. A moment of silence was observed.

The Registrar, Eminent Knight Chris Reed, read the Dispensation to hold a Virtual Business Meeting instead of a regular Preceptory Meeting. The Eminent Preceptor then welcomed the Provincial Prior and Vice-Chancellor to the Meeting.

All items on the Agenda were dealt with in a professional manner by all concerned and as can be seen in the screen capture shot all members finally mustered up a smile at the same time – this is a first! Only one member mistakenly thought it was ok to be mufti, but I am not going to spill the beans.
